OUR AIMS

Based on the mandate given by HEC, CAC NUST devised its terms of references to effectively contribute to socio-economic development of the country. Objectives of the council broadly include the following:

1. Industry outreach; establishing relationships and building trust
2. Collaborative projects / programmes / events, including Finding Innovative & Creative Solutions for Society (FICS)
3. Industry-relevant improvements and additions in NUST curriculum
4. Industry-sponsored faculty and student projects
5. Aligning NUST Research as per Industry needs and requirements – CAC Members part of NUST Research Committees are contributing positively towards academic KPIs.
6. Student Industry visits and Industry Innovation talks
7. Faculty Placement in the Industry
8. Representation of Industry at academic forums
9. Participation in national and international exhibitions for innovative technologies promotion
