TEAM URAAN FROM NUST WON SEED MONEY FOR THEIR BUSINESS PITCH AT IENGINEERING ISLAMABAD

“Team Uraan” from Finding Innovative & Creative Solutions for Society (FICS ’21) won the iENGINEERING Seed Grant Award.
“Uraan” is a social entrepreneurship initiative to bridge the gap between industry and academia by creating awareness about work-study programmes, promote self-sustainable skill development, and empower students with social and financial stability.
The ceremony was held at the iENGINEERING Islamabad Office on September 21, 2021. The team from NUST Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) was invited to attend the ceremony where the winning team members were presented with Certificates of Achievement and a Seed Grant Award Check of PKR 50,000 to support their business idea and facilitate future research.
NUST and iENGINEERING firmly believe in youth empowerment and are inclined towards developing novel and innovative solutions addressing a spectrum of issues gripping Pakistan. Both organisations seeks to equip bright students with the skills and knowledge required to develop these innovative ideas into impactful solutions augmenting the development of society.
