I&C VISITED MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS TO IDENTIFY INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS OF HIGH-SPEED TRAINS

A team of NUST Innovation and Commercialisation (I&C) Directorate visited Ministry of Railways, Pak Secretariat on Monday May 24, 2021 to discuss infrastructure issues faced by the transportation authority. Identification of those areas where NUST can come up with solutions for the Railways in terms of infrastructure development, material testing, system automation / digitisation, consultancies and software-based solutions were amongst the other areas of discussion.

Mr. Zafar Zaman Ranjha, Secretary Railway Board and Brig. (R) Amjad Ali, Director General Information Technology / Coordination appreciated the team’s initiate in taking steps towards commericalisation of NUST technologies and helping Government Sector to tackle the issues. With this, I&C looks forward to assist railways in infrastructure development for the high-speed trains in future.
