The Career Development Centre (CDC) provides programs and services to students and alumni in exploring and making effective career choices. These programs provide opportunities for NUST students and Alumni to foster professional networks with employers and also assist employers in meeting their recruitment needs. The mandate of the Industry Liaison Office (ILO) is also mostly student placements in the Industry, for which they work with the middle-to-lower management levels in the Industry.

On the other hand, CAC liaisons with the top management in various industrial, business and government enterprises and its main thrust is on generating projects through which the NUST R&D base in its various schools can solve industry problems.
