NUST Industry-Academia Roundtable on Bio-Tech, Agri-Tech, and Biomedicine

ICON successfully hosted an insightful Industry-Academia Roundtable on Bio-Tech, Agri-Tech, and Biomedicine at the Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB), NUST, on June 18, 2025.
The roundtable brought together 15+ representatives from leading industry and NUST Schools, including ASAB, NSHS, SINES, to exchange ideas, explore collaborative research opportunities, and discuss research and innovation pathways in biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, and healthcare.
The session was co-led by Mr. Muhammad Asghar, Principal ASAB, representing NUST, and Mr. Ali Ameen, Managing Director, Wilson’s Pharmagroup, representing the industry. Their insights set the tone for a dynamic discussion focused on bridging the gap between scientific research and real-world impact.
This initiative, under the ICON Industry-Academia Roundtable Series, continues to foster meaningful engagement between industry, academia, and government.
